OK,
I want to start an official North Texas Group that would get together a couple times a month and go to at least 2 open mics.
One on Friday night - At least once per month (Knights of Columbus)
One on Wednesday or Sunday night (Paridise Grill)
I'd also like to start jamming with some of you guys, we can play at Pugsleys and a studio that I have worked a deal out, we can do this on a Tuesday or Wednesdy evening, or even a Saturday.
Lets see if we can start a list of who would like to join in, we could even do some song writing.
Email me your info, skill level, other instruments you play, do you sing, etc...phone numbers would be great.
I will start a distribution list!

I'd love to know more about it, we may have room to host it as well, if that helps.
Thanks

Steve:
Thanks for the offer!
I don't travel to the area as much as I used to but I certainly can plan my trips around a jam!
I'll defer to the D/FW residents to schedule dates and places but count on me as a definite, if not irregular, drop in.

Come there has got to be more than one "guy" who wants to jam on a regular basis.

Steve,
I'd just like to get a group of guys together, lets say no less than twice per month. We could do a round table of playing and then maybe some writing.
How about a night real soon?

Steve, that might be too"real soon".
Let me see what I can put together. Next week might be better.
P.S. I made a deal on the Les Paul. Have any interest in a Martin OM28V?

Have any interest in a Martin OM28V?Chris, I know you weren't talking to me, but I was looking at that guitar before I bought my Taylor 814. They are too similar. However, if I can sell my Martin D12-18 (which I never play anymore), I might be interested. I'll try to remember to bring it to the get together in April in Houston. Anyone interested in a Martin D12-18?

I will have it in a trade I'm doing this week. I like it I'm just not sure it is "the one". I was really wanting a OOO and I saw an Eric Clapton on for sale that was in my range. I'm also thinking about a 12 string but it would have to be a Taylor or a Larrivee.

Hey Chris,
Maybe we could look at a week from Wednesday as a starting point.
BTW the OM28V is very cool, I will give that some more thought.
Thanks,
SA
