Small San Diego Gathering

In reference to those who live here locally in the San Diego area, and in reference to a previous post for who lives here in San Diego, I would like to have a little gathering just south a few minutes in the Chula Vista area, not far from Southwestern Community College. I was thinking of the 12th of March, which is a Saturday. I anyone interested?

I would set up a nice PA system for us to use, and there would be plenty of space. We could setup inside or outside, either way is an option, depending on the weather. There is shade outside with a large grass yard with trees.

Of course, anyone who wants to travel from farther away is welcome. I will provide the food and drink.

Even if only a couple people can come, that is ok to! I just love to share music with others who want to. I am open to other possible dates.

I live up in Mira Mesa but I know exactly where Southwestern is. My father in law works there. I would love to have a get together. March 12 is good for me but it would have to be later in the afternoon 1:30 or later.

BTW, I have only been playing a year and would love the oppurtunity to play/learn with more experienced players.

Rick, I'm down for a San Diego gathering. I've been dying to try out my new pickup on a PA system hehe. March 12 sounds good as of now but like sterling I can only meet after 12pm. I play praise and worship; what do you and sterling play?

I play alot of songs from artists like James Taylor, Jim Croce, Eagles, etc. Easy listening kinda stuff. Sounds good, if we get started around say, 2:00pm, that would be fine.

I'm definitely interested. Normally 2:00 PM on a Saturday is my Monday morning at work, but I think I may be able to get the day off. How's that for a definite maybe?

Just want to let you who are interested, I will have a PA system set up for anyone who is interested in playing that way. It is a shame that not many have expressed an interest in this get-together, maybe because many SoCal forumites are in the LA area.

I went to Bonita High School, so I know where you are. We've been so busy, that it will be very hard to get away. It sound great, I'll see if it works out, but it is a very small chance I'll be able to make it.
