I mentioned this idea tentatively in the other thread...about using the headstock shape or pickguard shape as a background type thingy...I am not an artist, so this is very crude, but here is a quick sketch of what type of usage I had in mind. I like the font from the woodstock design...and I really like the idea of using the koa peghead as the front breast design...anyway- this is just one of my ideas as a guideline...

Thoughts, modifications, suggestions, or criticisms are always welcome.

I like it. Simple design but says it all.

Hmmm... The back may be a bit much. I like the simple front, though. I'm not sure if we can use the pickguard since it's a Taylor trademark. We've been able to get away with using the torch from the K14, though.

Any other thoughts?

Why not on the pickguard? Thats fine, it was just a passing thought...a way to kill time in class, but I really like the idea of subtle things that dont SCREAM Taylor...like the Taylor logo itself, but rather things that we can associate with Taylor...like the pickguard, the koa peghead, the silhouette of the guy on the beach...

4 more days of classes, maybe ill try and think of something :)

Hey youse guys (and gurls),

HELP!!!!!

All I see is a broken picture icon, and when I try to open anyway, I get a "page not available from Middlebury College"(or something like that)....as a man with little or no artistic capability, I would like to take a look.....I think one of the most distinctive aspects of a Taylor is its headstock....they really draw my eye....

Hey tbondo!

Bet you're using Netscape, huh!? When folks insist on using SPACES in their filenames, Netscape chokes on the URL! Whenever this happens, ya need to right click on the "broken pic" and select "View Image"... then, after the 'Can't Find It!' message appears, go into the 'Location' text box at the top of your browser and replace the spaces in the filename with "%20" (no quotes!). Seems like a lot of effort, but that's about it if you want to use Netscape! :(

Here's an example of the revised URL for the pic, above:

Hey Ryan... for the benefit of all the Netscapers out here, instead of spaces, could ya maybe use underlines ( "_" ) between the words in your pic names (i.e., Taylor_Shirt_Sketch.jpg), or maybe just jam it all together (TaylorShirtSketch.jpg)??

Or you COULD just insert the "%20" for us! ;)
