Probably just me...if the wife comes she'd probably go spend time with her buddy in Houston anyway (hehe). I'll see if I can get some people from my songwriting group to tag along though....and I'll let ya know.

Me and Karin for sure. So that'd be 2. :)
I'll be there and probably bring 1 guest with me. PM me if you'd like me to bring anything or if you'd like a contribution to the Houston Get Together Fund.

My wife and I will be there. (plus my guitar makes 3, but she don't eat much). I can bring whatever. I guess it really depends on how many folks will be there.

Don't know if I can make it yet. It's the same week as my wifes and mine 25 year anniversary. If we can make it is there anything we can bring? I can can do a fair dessert.

Looks like we are off to a good start and the event is still 3 months out!
So far the Total looks like: 19 plus 5 maybe's
In March we can start a sign-up for Desserts, Salads or other Condiments.
Note: The only thing you guys may have to pay out of pocket would be a $5.00 per vehicle parking fee. Use of the Patio and Marina Facilities has been taken care of. Just bring a Guitar (or two) of your choice and get ready to Pick-N-Grin.

I'm hoping to go with my wife and daughter. But if they don't go, can I hitch a ride with someone from the Dallas area?

I'll put it on my schedule. Probably me, the girlfriend and one or two of her kids. The day after 4-15, huh! I'll probably be singing the blues after I pay off the IRS. I'll need a party. My girlfriend makes some great party food.
I'll pass the word on to the half dozen Taylor owners I know in Houston who aren't members of the AGF (I think).

I'll make it unless there's some kind of strange accident between now and then. Count me in.

Not to hijack this thread or anything, but I know someone had mentioned some of the Fender Forum guys in the Houston area, any word on this? I think that would be a blast! :)

It might get a little loud if we get a bunch of electrics at the lake?

Sweet. Louder, faster, harder. That's my guitaring technique.

I'm in the Lake Livingston area. Is this gathering open to all AGF members?

Heck, bring a friend or two.
It would be great to have an extra large turnout!

Since I can't play (yet), all I could do is enjoy some libations and listen to some good music.
It would be good motivation to see some really good pickers.

I'm going and I probably won't play too much cause I have a strange feeling no one will want to jam any acoustic punk rock with me. But like you said, it ought to be a good time nonetheless.

Hello,
Please count me in as a player and my wife as an observer! My offer to help with food is still on the table so to speak, just e-mail me sometime before then and let me know if there is a grill, oven, or deep fryer available in addition to the pot of boiling water for the Crawfish and I will see what I can come up with.
I am really looking forward to seeing some of your guitars, in particular one or two with very special Redwood tops!
Thanks, David

Count me in for sitting around mindlessly noodling like I always do. :D
