There is plenty of stuff for them to do :) just keep in mind that they will be spending money to do it hehehe.

A quick list...

Coronado is a fun place to spend a day- I worked at the Hotel Del Coronado last summer and the whole "island" is a fun place to be- very quaint little beachy place- take a book and go rent a bike or some beach chairs.

Fashion Valley Mall is right there next to the hotel and has alot of nice stores.

Indian Casinos are really nice and about a half hour away ;) (barona and viejas particularly)

Tour the city with old trolley tours...it takes you all around san diego and into coronado.

Im sure there will be plenty of significant others who will be in search of fun things to do...there isnt a shortage of daytime entertainment in S.D., which is a very good thing.

Sea World, Wild Animal Park, San Diego Zoo, Mission Beach, Pacific Beach, La Jolla, Julian, Borrego Springs, Padre game, Mexico. These are all an easy drive and a great time.

Oh yeah- kinda forgot about all those big ones...oops!

I guess I was just thinking along the lines of side trips of a few hours rather than all day deals like Sea World, the zoo, or the wild animal park (which is a little further away..) But i guess we will all be doin alot of stuff at the Taylor factory etc so maybe they should find ways to occupy a 10 hour time block :D

If you were married with children (like I am) you think in grander terms when it comes to occupying time:)

My wife and daughter are too afraid to leave me alone at the Taylor factory...something to do with obsession???? They don't know that you can't buy anything there (at least not guitars!)....my daughter is planning to sing at the open mic session....don't have the plan yet, but we'll think of something.

I'm planning to visit Buffalo Bro's on the way in or out....
