At 46 I imagine I'll be close to or on the higher end of the average age.

Young whippersnappers! :ha:

Well let's see I'll be 44....... Oh wait, that's my age in base 7. Anyone who wants can covert to base 10 for the correct answer.

Well, let's see if I can show my ignorance here (like I haven't before?)...

Hmmm... 4x7=28+4= 31. Is this right?

I'm 25 and I'm working pretty hard at getting all the 20 somethings I can to come to Taylorstock. (Not that I don't also want to hang out with all your older folk. :p) hehehe

I'll be the big 4-0 by the time Taylorstock rolls around. But I swear, I don't look a day over 42...

Since Gutch and Buddiesorg broke the code:

Well, David ... you're younger than I am ... but not by much ... I'll be 100010 in binary by the time TaylorStock rolls around

I guess that makes Buddiesorg 34.

I've decided that I'm going to always accurately tell my age when asked. However, I'm going to change my numbering system from year to year. Maybe next year I'll go to base 12 so I can get younger.

Try doing your taxes in hexadecimal, it might confound the IRS into letting you go easy

My 17 year old daughter will be bringing her old man (51) and her mom (29....or so).....but, I'm on vacation and will boogie til I can't boogie no more.....that means I'll take naps in the afternoon to keep up with the whippersnapper bunch.....should I be learning Dave Mathews tunes??? I've been working on Counting Crows (my personal fav of the more recent crop)....

tbondo- ill teach you all the Dave Matthews Band tunes you can handle!

What are Wifey and Daughter going to be doing this whole time...

I'm actually very curious as to what those of you who are bringing others are having them do? whether they are going to be joining the Taylor festivities, or exploring the wonderous fruits San Diego has to offer on their own...

48. After years of playing traditional music, I'm afraid that I'm completely out of touch with anything current. I'm always willing to learn, but I think we may need a jam for all the old farts. :)

Geeze....this really is a depressing question...when you've seen the half century mark come and go.....well....I figure the best is yet to come.

Someone has gotta top this one.....Please !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Agreed...I'm a 1954 model myself. Let's break out the CCR, JT, PPM, CSNY, and BD.

If you can't figure out the nomenclature, you're too young.

I KNOW EM ALL!!!

Creedence Clearwater Revival, James Taylor, Peter, Paul, and Mary, Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young, and Bob Denver!

hahah nope, that last one is Gilligan!

I guess I still qualify as too young :)

Im stuck on that last one...

Id do a "too old" abbreviation test in response, in good humor of course, but maybe that would be mean :p

I will fully admit that most of the music in the era you are referencing is better than todays music...youve got to look harder today to find good stuff, and the stuff that IS good is not what is popular like it was back then.

OK, I changed my mind...

What would any of you older forum-ites do If I asked you if we could jam to some:

DMB, BNL, RHCP, PJ, or 3EB (dont really like this last one, but its the only abbreviation I could think of...)

:D
