View Full Version : Taylor Factory Tour Get-together?

I had an idea and wanted to get people's input. I have never been to the Taylor Guitar factory and wondered if people might be interested in meeting up for a tour some time next year? Of course, this should not interfere with Koaguitarman's January gathering here in CA. Also, since Taylor only gives tours M-F, it'll have to be a "ditch" day for some of us. Another idea I had was to organize lunch or dinner somewhere so we could visit and make the trip even more special. (Any suggestions for good, reasonably-priced, restaurants nearby would be appreciated and I will compile a list for later). Let me know what you think. -Tg

Give it some time, TG. You never know. ;) Wish I could do it, but probably wouldn't be able to since I live in Virginia. Some times it takes people a while to notice gathering announcements.

Depends on when it's planned. I can't do it between now and the end of February, but it's possible I could after that. Once I get out to our new house I'll know more.
Love the idea!

From Colorado Springs, it's a stretch, but I'd go if the timing works! I'll be in CA from 1/15 (San Luis Obispo) through 1/21 (Fresno, argh, and Anaheim) and I could do some driving ... Oh, and Love's Barbecue restaurant (out on the hotel loop, south side) is a great place to eat ... I used to be a cook there and I miss their food.

I don't know when it happened, but the Love's is closed. Actually tried going there yesterday and found it was gone. :(

I think Love's went out of business a while ago. Don't see around like I used to years ago. Tg

Sure lets go! Some time in late January or February. I can make a customer call in the morning and end up there. I think the tour starts at 1PM ish? Sounds like good fun!
