Attention All California AGF'ers!
Koaguitarman & Koa Lady would like to host the next edition of "Southern California AGF Get Together" in January 2005. I am looking for the best date for all to attend. Here are the proposed Saturday dates:
1/8/05
1/15/05
1/29/05
Is there any interest in this event?
It will be held @ our house or @ the company where I work. At work there is a full kitchen with adjoining conference room (for eating), large lobby area (one pickin' area), and my office (another pickin' area). Lots more room all around.......
Let's make this a big event!

I MIGHT be able to come down from NoCal. I think the 15th and the 29th are the best for me.
If I do come, I have a nice Yamaha PA system that would be perfect if you want to have an open mic type event for all of the attendees.

The first two dates are best for me...I'll probably be there on the 8th (available in the evening), and might be able to be there on the 15th (in the area for a contract activity).....sounds like it'll be a real good time....thanks, Russ.

Ya Know that Shoko and I are "in" .....
She plans to bring " The Chair " for a nice time of relaxation.
I'm looking forward to it.
Russ, I know in my mail I said any weekend but I was just reminded that the family is having a baby shower for my neice on the 15th so that weekend is a little restricted on my participation.
I'm looking forward gathering again. It is such a good time.
Oh Yea, when will the goodall be finished?

Russ...thanks for offering. I sent you e-mail, but the first date is best for me.
Russ!
So maybe I'll finally get to sample a small bit of your collection! :D Sorry for never getting back to you... once school started it just swallowed me up.
The last two dates will work for me - I'll be out of the country on the 8th. Looking forward to it!! :D

I would like to come but I am just a beginner (sort of) with a few lowly Taylors (214, 314ce). I don't know that many songs but I'm fun and can strum along with a decent rhythm! :)

Taylorgyrl,
This is not about your ability to play or sing. This is about meeting other nice people face to face that you have been "talking" to here. I've been to a few of these and they are about guitars and playing, but more about spending time with some neat people. There are some very good players, and some not so good. Most of us are somewhere in between. I hope you come.

What Steve said. It's all about the fun and not about the talent.

TgTaylorgyrl,
You are more than welcome to attend the "AGF Get Together 2005". I know you will enjoy the company of everyone attending. It should be a whole lot of fun and be sure to bring your appetite, we are having some sort of good food. Hope you can make it!

I hope I'll be able to come. We have a tentative family shindig (and I'm using the term "shindig" veeeerrrrry liberally) on the 8th, but if the plans change, as they often do, I'll be there.
