For those of us who who be staying at the hotel, should we drive to the T&C and ride the bus to Taylor, or should we just meet you there? There's not a lot of visitor parking at Taylor, but there is some.
This sounds like it's coming along nicely...

Hey JR,
I see on Saturday the only bus from the hotel leaves at 130p for an afternoon of wood selection. For those who aren't picking out wood for their next guitar, will there be a second bus to arrive in time for dinner and performances?
Just being a pain,
Dave

JR,
Jolly good show, old boy!
Now, I gotta keep up the pressure on the wife to let me pick my own wood out for a ????. I was getting the lecture last night cause I bought an American Strat HT with some money I had stashed away. That's another story.
I'm gonna do it all..... and I'll just apologize for my ineptness and lack of talent right now....cause I'm gonna play and I'm gonna sing and I'm gonna have a grand olde time....I can't wait.
See you there!

I'm gonna do the open mic, too. I get very nervous when I'm singing and playing solo (groups are so much easier!) and I may well make a fool of myself, but how often do opportunities like that come along?
Unfortunately, I'll have to pass on choosing my own guitar wood. I'm already trying to find ways to pay for the 714 (like not staying at the hotel), and I can't allow myself to stretch the plastic any further. I'll just have to live vicariously through others on that deal.
Anyway, it's looking like a great weekend!
