Texas AGF V - Prospective Dates

We may end up someplace else (date-wise) but I'll start with the last two weekends in October and the first two in November and we'll go from there.

Count me in for whatever works for the group!Me too. At this point, I am able to make it any of those weekends. So, I'm a yes for any of the 4 dates. However, knowing my calendar, the sooner we decide the better; my schedule on weekends gets filled up pretty fast.

i'm flexible as to the date also. worst case i might have to trade an oncall with a co-worker.

where is this place again? i thought i read canyon and the only canyon i know of is up next to amarillo, right?

ah! found it now.

it's down below hill country guitars at wimberley where i drove last weekend. that trip took me right at 4 hours at night to drive the 242 miles. it was close to 7 hours coming back through austin friday afternoon traffic though.

map says canyon lake is 274 miles from euless, so i must have been right in the backyard. you'd have to add, what, about 80 to that coming from your place?

of course i could always stop at the guitar store on the way and talk kevin out of another collings!

Just saw this today. Sounds like fun in the fall at Canyon Lake. 11/6 works best for me, since I'm playing at a coffee house on the 23rd. What is the plan for the Saturday get-together? Everyone bring their guitars and sit around and pick and sing? And eat too I hope. That's what we do at the Houston Folklore Society picking parties every month.

I'm somewhat flexible with nothing really pressing. I have started a USTA Tennis Team, we play on Saturday's but I don't have to make everyone.

I don't want to do Halloween so I'm open!

I think we do need to set a date ASAP, I am scheduling weekend stuff pretty quick.

I'm looking at going to Nashville the first weekend in October and if I do the AGF thing then I miss 2 weekends of Tennis.
