Guitar players in Houston area

Does anybody have any interest in getting together a couple of times a month for some mini jam sessions. I am very much a beginner, but would like to have the opportunity to play with some others. I live in Pearland and work in the Galleria area. I am flexible on when and where we could meet at. Just an idea, let me know if you are interested.

Just about anything except Blink 182. Just kidding. The only thing that I am not crazy about is country and western. Classic rock, punk rock, alternative, blues, and blue grass are things that I listen to. I am willing to play whatever, whenever.

I travel a lot during the week for work, but I am usually home on the weekends and would be up for "mini" jam sessions if my schedule allows. If there were only a few of us it would be cool to play at my house. I live in the west end of town at Westheimer and the Beltway.
