Well even though only a few of us turned out, I still had a great time. :)
Always fun hanging out with a group of guitarists and just bs'ing and having a good time!
Steve's church is amazing! The acoustics in there are absolutely unreal, I'd love to record in there. I'm seriously considering a donation for a few hours access maybe one weekday!
I'd also like to thank Guitarman for fronting for the food, you didn't have to do that man. That was incredibly generous of you. :)
Ok, I'm ready for the next one. :D

Jeffrey:
I'm glad you guys had a good time. Were there any pictures taken? I look forward to the next one. Is it time to do it in the D/FW area?

Steve took some pictures and we took a nice group picture outside.
I think the next one is going to be in Houston. ;)

Even though I got there late, I had a good time.
I was very disappointed to only see 5 players. 13 pages and almost 200 post, 15-20 people said they were going to be there.
Steve handled it great, too bad he got put in that position.
Count me in for Houston, I know I'll have my JDCM and hopefully another 1 or 2.
Hey Guitarman, knock it off!!! No need to donate the cash for the food. That is too kind (that doesn't mean your off the hook for crawdads in Houston though!!!!).
I wish I could have made it... We had planned to be in town to look for a house, but our plans fell through. We'll be in Texas in June and I hope to meet up with the TGF'ers this summer. We're currently looking at a large country home in San Antonio, who knows, maybe we'll be able to host!
Only 6 more weeks left in the cornfields and we'll be in TEXAS!
Look forward to meeting "ya'll".
Regards,
Dale

Just wanted to add my Thanks to Guitarman for the chow (mmm... deli food!) and to Steve for putting everything together (you da man!).
I had a blast -- playing, listening to Steve's playing and singing (great voice, dude) and listening/watching Jeffery's MAJOR chops -- it was all good (well, except for the **** 5 a.m. firedrill at the hotel this morning).
Okay, when's the next one?
jas.
oops, one more thing --- Steve, how do you pronounce your handle and what does it mean?

here (http://www.acousticguitarforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=45351) - started another thread before I saw this one. Sorry to confuse everything -- lets just post in this thread.
