Directions to TGF TX III in San Antonio

I suspect most of you are coming from either Dallas or Houston:

From Dallas: Take IH35 south to San Antonio. When in San Antonio, take IH410 west. Go across town and exit FREDRICKBURG ROAD. Stay in the left lane on the access road and take the turn around over the highway. Stay on the access road which turns right. You are now (yes this is true) on the access road to IH10 east. At the next intersection, take the turn around under IH10 so you are now headed on the access road to IH10 west. The church, First Unitarian Universalist Church of San Antonio, will be on your right.

Believe it or not, this is the easiest way to get there.

From Houston: Take IH10 west through San Antonio. Watch the signs in San Antonio, because in order to stay on IH10 west you need to exit the highway a few times (what can I say, I'm just the messenger). Exit IH10 west at the CROSSROADS EXIT. At the light, go straight and stay on the access road. The church, First Unitarian Universalist Church of San Antonio, will be on your right.

If you need directions from some other place, or I have totally confused you with these directions, give me an email or whatever.

Site: We are confirmed for 1pm to 8pm (or so). Cost is $175, which includes the kitchen area which we will split somehwere between $17.50 and $9 per attendee. I'm going to bring my amp (Shenandoah Jr.) and I am hoping that we can hook into the PA system in the Fellowship Hall.

By the way, we do have a mixer and other sound equipment in the room we have rented, to plug into. There are 4 speakers in the room. I sort of know how to work it, but not really. I sure hope one of y'all is experienced in hooking into sound systems. I think there are 3 mikes.

I'm @ the Hilton Palacio Del Rio, where is the church from the river?Chris, you need to get to IH10 West. (just remember that in San Antonio, IH10 West really heads north).

The Hilton Palacio del Rio is on Commerce. Take Commerce west. You will make a right while on the downtown streets (I can't remember the name of the street); follow the street signs for IH10West.

I've bought most of the food, and I'll put it out when I get there. The church is rented until about 1pm, so if you get there early, you may not be able to get in. I'll try to put up a sign so its easy to tell which building we are all in.
