The last get together was so much fun, I'm starting to plan the next one at my house in Walkersville, Maryland. (about 50 minutes from Baltimore, Washington DC and Harrisburg) I'm looking at Saturday, April 17, 2004. I don't have any details yet and I'm open to ideas. I'm just testing the waters to gauge the interest. Mrs. Kevdel gave the green light so let's give it a go.

well, being in Baltimore I'm close by, but the new baby is supposed to be coming the first week of April so I'm probably dealt out of this one too. But you never know, maybe she'll let me out...

The 17th works for me. The week after that is out, so I vote for the 17th!

It's our wedding anniversary. We are working on weekend sitters so I can skip town with Mrs. C C.;)

Hmm...that one's only 200 miles away...closer than Cakes' house, anyway. :D

I'm a tentative at this point, too...if I can find another local NJ/NYer to take the trip with.

Have Joe (Meridian) skip to your place from NYC and you can cruise down together. :D

I'd love to cruise down with meridian...the train station is only 10 minutes from my house, just about an hour from NY Penn Station.

Joe, what say you? :D

Kevin just checked mapquest.com a HOOOWEEE!
241.23 miles , 4 hours, 5 minutes drive!

I don't remember that last 20 miles driving home from Cakes, I think I slept!

If I came I might have to find a hotel room out there!

I'm getting excited for this. I will need some hotel information. I might just go to DC though...Haven't been to our nation's capitol in a while. Let me know which hotels are close to the gathering...I'll check prices and make up my mind.

Maddy, I'll get the hotel info together and post it later today. And Steve, that's where my Bose is right now. It sounds great in the living room, especially with the JDCM!!!!

Just remember what your price of entry is....that sour cream/salsa stuff! Even though you don't work for them anymore, we should all chip in and tell you to bring a few cases down with you.

But it would be cool if you made it down. It's been too long since you've seen us DC people.

Here are some hotels in the area.

1. Courtyard by Marriott 301-631-9030

2. Fairfield Inn by Marriott 301-631-2000

3. Hampton Inn 301-698-2500

4. Holiday Inn 301-662-5141

5. Holiday Inn Express 301-695-2881

6. Quality Inn 301-695-6200

All of these are within 15 minutes from my house and are easy to get to. Let me know if you need more information. Hope to see everyone there.

I will try to snag some salsa sour cream...I should probably go looking for some now...it's not carried very many places...Anyway...I'm sure I can make it. Nothing going on that weekend at work. It has been too long since I've been down to DC.

After hanging with Tim B., Jennifer and Cakes last night, I'm going to try and get my business travel scheduled to join in. Of course, Tim said that would be another reason for him not to attend, be that as it may.

Hope I make it.

Hi guys,

I lived in NoVA prior to moving to Germany, looks like I may be in the DC area that weekend, mind if I stop by? Probably will be traveling sans guitar, but maybe I can make up for it by bringing some German wine or something?

cheers,

kevdel

Did you say wine!?!??! We'd love to meet you, guitar or not. Let me know how I can help.

Yep, the Germans make some really good white wines. Their beer's pretty good too! :D

As we get closer, I should have a better idea of what my schedule will support, but I think I'll be able to swing this and I'm really looking forward to meeting you guys.

Let me know if there's anything you guys would like from Germany and I'll see what I can do.

ciao,
