After seeing all the pics of the CA get together..... I was thinking it would be fun to have one later this year in New England. Anyone interested??

Sure. I tried to get one organized last year but there was a resounding roar of non-interest....those cadgy New Englanders....

Maybe you'll have better luck! :ha:

Sounds interesting hey MichaelM remmber I think I had sent you an email at the time and said that me and my family had just moved into the Worcester area and we were getting settled into our new store so at that time it was tough for me to get any days off.

I may be interested. Can barely play a lick though, only been at it for 3 months.

Those who "can't play a lick" have to pick up my bar tab....... only kidding, all are welcome. I'd like to do this sometime in the spring/summer. Any idea where we would go ie, someones house, hotel, etc.

Yeah, no I definitely heard from a few people, but after the initial reaction there seemed no way to get any momentum going. Hopefully this will work out.

plexipunk: If you're interested, I could send you the email addresses of the people I heard from before.

That sounds good, I also see a lot of people from MA and the local area who might be interested but will never see this post. I would like to see this happen, but I am not much of a planner myself. Anyone interested in heading up this project??

If it won't take to much time to put together, I'll volunteer to get everyone together. I'd also really like to see this get going and don't want to see it fall along the wayside.

So I guess if anyone wants to give their 2 cents on where/when they'd like to do this, feel free to reply. I'd also like to see where everyone lives so we can find a place that's good for everyone.

I'd like to do it sometime in the Spring and my place wouldn't be too good for it, just too small. I'm in Haverhill, which is right on the NH border.

I would also enjoy havein a taylor stock type get together in New England, I am in RI but it would not be a problem to travel to Mid Mass or southern VT or NH. I know a few others who would love to come along as well. Have any plans been made yet?? I might be able to get the community room at the local hospital here in Westerly, which is right on the coast. Summer fun, sun and the weekly Blues on the Beach concerts that we have every summer.

I'm in the Boston area, but willing to travel. There's a Taylor dealer near me that we could probably meet at; though maybe it would be better at someone's house?

I don't have a very big place, but if it was less than ten could probably fit everyone in.

Hey,

I'm new too. Could afford maybe one round but I am a chef-instructor at NECI in Montpelier, VT so I could bring a different kind of axe...

Aghh, sorry. That came out a little funny. I meant I will organize and fire the food. (kitchen jargon).

Nope; there's been no choice of time, date or location...
