Capt Bill and I are arriving in sunny Anaheim (DC in January is not magical as far as I'm concerned! :) ) on Jan 14 and leaving on Jan 18. Jennifer (Meinel) is also around in that same time frame tho' I'm not sure of her exact plans right now.

We'd both like to meet up with some TGF'ers, has anyone put together anything yet? :)

I'll be driving down on the 14th, but only going as far as Simi Valley, where my uncle lives. I'll be at the show on Thursday all day and probably just in the morning on Friday. I'll be giving Steve a call at some point when I'm there so maybe we could all get something together for Thursday night?

I won't be getting to NAMM until sometime late Friday afternoon. I have plans Friday night, but I'm open much of the remaining time I'm there. I'll be coming back to San Diego on Sunday.

next year, i'm going to try to make it a point to go....how fun that must be! the owner of a music shop in my hometown is a close friend of the family, and a client of my father's, so there's no excuse for me to not bug him about getting some passes :roll:

Now that I've gotten a good cardiology report, I will try on Monday to use some frequent flier miles for a trip out to San Diego to meet up with my friends out there for NAMM.

I'll let y'all know one way or the other. It would be GREAT to see folks again. :)

PLUS I really want to get a first hand look at the 30th Anniversary models!!!

Lord knows hardly a few will show up on the wall at Rudy's and NONE will probably ever show up at Sam Ash.

My wife and I had planned to be there Thursday and Friday, but work has again reared it's ugly head and we had to cancel. (Man, that's happened a LOT the past year!!). Let's hope we get some good pics from the folks who are going!
