Alright Gang,
I'd like to throw out a couple dates so people can have a little more advanced notice this time. I realized a couple of the local regulars are going to NAMM and I've spoken with a couple of you about your schedules. I'm trying to accomodate :)
As before the party will be at my house. I'll provide the food and location. You bring yourselves and your guitars. No big program...just an opportunity to visit and play guitar. Maybe we'll grab some Mexican food in the evening - there's a great place in town...
Anyway, I'm thinking Saturday, January 24 or Saturday, February 7.
My preference would be to hold it January 24, but I am flexible. Lemme know what works for you.
John :)

Either weekend works for me! :D
But I prefer the weekend where there is no snow!

It's a little early for me to know my flight schedule, but I will try to be at whatever one you choose.

I definitely cannot make it on 1/24, but don't change plans on my account. 2/7 looks open at this point and I would like to come down, though the distance likely will be a hindrance. Saturday is great since I don't work on Sunday...so a late return home wouldn't be an issue.
John, I'll try to make it however around that time my schedule is going to start getting out of control. Vacations and other stuff.

I hear you, Tim. I leave for vacation the following weekend (Feb 14). I'll keep my fingers crossed.
And that goes for the rest of you who have responded so far. Hope you can make it! :)

How often to you guys have get-togethers? I used to live out by the Manassas Battel Field before I moved to Germany. I still get back to the DC on work-related trips from time to time. Do you guys think you'll have one in the May time frame?
Merry Christmas to ALL!

Even if we don't have an official "get-together" you can always let us know when you are in town. Perhaps some of us could just meet for dinner or something.

My production schedule makes the future kind of, erm, fuzzy. I want to come, but I'm not the one to schedule around. With that said, 1/24 is out for me. It's my parents-in-law's 50th anniversary party. Thus, 2/7 is drastically better for me. :)

Based on feedback so far, I'm leaning toward 2/7 and I'm really looking forward to it. I realize it is a little difficult to plan this far in advance.
Have a great Christmas (or fill in your own holiday)! :)

I will try to attend.
Although I do not have any new Taylors, Santa did leave the Martin Jimmy Buffett Polywog under the tree which I will bring. Also, I have decided to try the new Bose PAS system and if it arrives on time I will be happy to bring so thers can determine if this is the way of the future or not.
Happy New Year everyone!

Well, I can probably make it on 2/7. Cakes...please do me a favor and send me your address so I can check on MapQuest to see just how insane I'll need to be to pull this one off. :D
I don't have any newfangled cool things to bring, but I'll bring my Taylor...I guess that's all ya need for an invite, right?

You have mail...and TimB is right, you don't need a Taylor to attend. :) Even if there is a shortage of people, (which it doesn't seem like there will be) I can almost guarantee there will be no shortage of Taylors in attendance!

I thought we all decided as a group that Bill is not allowed to miss any get-togethers.

230 miles each way...but I got the go-ahead from the wife. I'm going to tentatively say I'll be there and then play it by ear when the time approaches, unless you need confirmation before then. :D
MapQuest says 3 hours, 39 minutes each way...yeesh. Atsa long haul! :p

Well, the new Bose PAS system arrived last night and is actually quite well made. I have not plugged it in yet as it was quite late by the time I unpacked it and set it up in the living room. I'll definately bring it to the TGF get-together for all to demo.

It's around 50/50 for me. I'll have a better idea the closer we get to the 7th. I'm hoping...!

I may just have to "run into you" at Eastern Market before the 7th then to get a look at it. I've seen the pictures and read what people have said about it on here. I can't wait to see if it's what everyone says it is.
