Cool Acoustic guitars in works of art

I enjoy looking at artwork with a guitar theme. Here is one of my favorites.

Glen

With a Parlor Guitar (c. 1882)

Ha, I bought a nice framed poster of this one to hang in our appartment in London...until.....my wife spots it & demands it is taken down as being too depressing!

I had to look around to find an image I liked. This is a really neat thread.

Great thread, thanks for starting it.
A couple of years ago I "met" a guy over on UMGF, Michael Segui, who does block prints of blues singers and guitars. You can check out his stuff on his facebook page,

Here are a couple I have (with Elizabeth Cotton and Robert Johnson on order)

Picasso had guitars in many of his paintings. At one point he included a guitar, a horseshoe and a couple of other objects. Some were hidden in the painting.

Check out the painting... "La Guernica"
