Hey everybody, it's that time again! I'm shooting for the first Sunday in October to have the next jam. Eric Warner from Pacific Rim Tonewoods has graciously agreed to let us have the event at his plant. We'll get to jam together, oogle over guitars, and Eric will give us a tour of the place. He gave me a tour a while ago, and it was both fascinating and fun.
We can hammer out details as we go. Here are some questions that we can answer as we go...
1. Does everybody want BBQ again? Jim has agreed to drive out to the plant with his smokers to make it for us. Instead of costing $10 per person, it would be $11, to cover Jim's travel costs.
2. Do we want to do "Open Mic" again, or just jam away like we did at the end of the last get-together?
Let me know your thoughts.
Here's a link to the last event's photos... (thanks plexiprs!)

Eric Warner (rsimper)?? What do you mean? Rsimper is rsimper. And rsimper is not Eric Warner. What am I missing? :)

I think you're right. I may have mixed up my names when I was typing. Sorry. I've edited my previous post.

No problemo. :) Nice pics, by the way. Looks like a fun time...and good food! I probably can't make the trip from DC, (surprise, surprise), but have fun!

Hello,
Let's do it!!! I missed out on the last one because I had to work on campus at WWU... Open mic. or not, BBQ or not, whatever, I will try hard to get there... Keep us informed...
Matt
Nice photos! And I'm glad I'm not the only one wearing my Taylor high! A few of those guys definitely have me beat and I'm not even sure how a couple of them can reach up by the headstock to hit those open chords. :)

Count me in! I liked the open mike - took a little time, but it was worth it!

Wow, you guys had a great turn out. That looked like a great place too. Was it a church, community center or something like that?

It was at Christ the King Community Church, where I pastor.

Sam,
I'll try to make it again. The only suggestion I'd like to offer is to hold it on Saturday rather than Sunday. It's a long drive home for us "southerners" on a work night.
Peace,
Dennis

Seeing as how this is the first weekend in October and I haven't been keeping current on the forum... I'm assuming that I've missed it .... again. Dang.
If it gets organized again, please let me know.

Hi Dennis,
I think this one fell through. If we can get together again, we'll let you know!

If Dennis brings the forum guitar, I will DEFINITELY be at the next Seattle area gathering! I would love to hear that guitar sing.
