Well guys we are less than 2 weeks away.

I will follow up with Larry @ Larry Morgan Music to see if he is still willing to let us "view" or "demo" some new products. It would really be helpful if we could get a few more to show up.

The August 16th Jam session @ Pugsleys (http://www.pugsleys.com/) .

We have 7 - 10 people confirmed. I'd sure like to see about 20 or so.

If it is anything like the South Texas Get Together there will be some amazing guitars at this get together.

We are only a couple hours from Oklahoma and Shreveport some come on out.

Pugsleys is a great facility. We have 2 rooms reserved. Pugsleys has 20 or 25 pool tables (we have our own private one), darts, foosball, many many big screens, shuffleboard and more. Pugsleys is centrally located with great malls and shopping close by!

So please help and come see us or invite some friends. If you have not signed up please post here that you'd like to come.

We will be jamming from 11:00 am to whenever we feel like quitting!

See Ya'll Soon!

What Jeffrey said! My 814 is at Taylor for a buzzing that I hope will be fixed by then and the guitar back in my hands. As it is, I am having withdrawal.

I sure hope others do not miss out on this.

I look forward to showing off my Jumbo JDCM and seeing Jeffrey's beautiful Taylorstock CoCo!

Spread the word!

Hey Guys and Gals,

Spoke with Marcus @ Larry Morgan and they would like to know what "we" would like to have from the standpoint of dealer participation.

I thought it might be cool if they brought some different amps and pa's for us to check out. Of course maybe a couple of new Taylor's with a great discount  .

They have agreed to participate at some level. Please let me know what you would like to see them do that would make this more fun!

I like the amp idea -- I am more likely to buy an amp than another guitar. But, it wouldn't hurt to have a few extra Taylors around to try.

I hope everyone is getting excited. I've spoken to several people and they are excited about coming.

Everyone chime in as a last RSVP to let me know your coming!

Are you coming this weekend?

My wife and I will be there. I'd suggest that Larry/Marcus bring out one or two examples from each series (of course, if they'd rather not bring out their PS, think they've only got one, that's understandable) along with a sampling of small combo amps (they have a pretty good selection) and cables. Also, any old stock they've had trouble moving and would be willing to discount would be good.

See you on Saturday.

Well we are all set!

I will see everyone tomorrow.

I do know a couple of people won't be there until 2:00 or 2:30. It might not be a bad idea to bring a couple of music stands. I've got a couple we will bring!

I'm jsut getting ready to leave San Antonio at about 0730 or 0800. I'll bring one music stand. Oh, and I did not get any music from anyone and, as it turns out, I didn't have the time to put together some music packets. So, I'll just bring my music and hopefully we can just all share. Sorry about that.

I'm over at Wade's house.

We had a fun time and really enjoyed the PA and stuff that Larry Morgan's guy brought out. I hadn't really had the opportunity to play through the ES to that extent, but really had fun with it. Especially that PS10! I didn't care much for the red, but man that thing was nice. :D

We need to do it again! And get some more people next time. :D

Ya, I had a blast. Thanks to Taygull for setting it up, and Larry Morgan for letting us play his gear. I was glad to meet a ton of cool people. I can't wait until the next time.

Well you guys are quick!

Thanks for the great turn out. I don't know about you guys but I thought the facility was great. It was nice and cool; we were not in anybody’s way, plenty of food and spirits. Let's do it again.

I'll get the pictures downloaded and get them over to Jeffery so he can post a link.

Thanks again guys please do me a favor and everyone call Marcus and Larry @ Larry Morgan Music and thank them for all they did. I'd also let them know how great Jeremy was!

Thanks again guys.

Had a great time. Thanks to Chris for making the arrangements. It turned out to be a great place to play. Thanks Jeremy and Larry Morgan for bring a lot of great stuff.

I enjoyed meeting a great group of folks. It was just like the forum...except with faces.

Thanks to all who helped put this thing together. I had a great time and it was cool to put faces to my online friends. Some good jamming took place and the facility was hand made for an event like this. There were some serious guitars in attendence and Larry Morgan went above and beyond with his support. I even won a Taylor polo shirt as a door prize.

Let's do it again.

Again, my thanks to Taygull and Wade and all those who put this together. Well done! Now, where are the pictures....

What door prizes? I guess I was too busy jamming on Jeffrey's K14 (hey, i did play my 814 this time). Oh well.

Thanks to Taygull and Larry Morgan for a great venue and PA system. It was fun playing the ES through it. And it was a great place, especially the 2 rooms so we could play through the PA, and still have another place to jam.

Can't wait to see the pictures.

Hey Jeffery,

I've got 35 pictures some good some not so good, I'm sure some of them can be brightened up!

I tried to zip them and when I selected all of them the properties of the file that was created said it was 9mb. The properties of the folder they are in were the same size before I created the zip file. Not being a genius tecky like yourself, when I attach the zip file to the email will it then reduce it? I'll never be able to get a 9mb file over my dial up!

Maybe you could shoot me an email on a better way to zip these so I can get them over to you?

Thanks again all!

Zipping files doesn't always compress them. Some file types are already compressed as far as they're going to go.

Just split'em up into two 4.5mb files and email those seperately, that should work. :)

I got Oz's pics, I'm going to sort them out and brighten a few up (some were just a tad too dark). I'll probably post those later tonight. :)

Not yet.

Make sure you spell my email right. ;) It's jeffRey@idworld.net, not JeffeRy like you've been spelling it on the forum here.
