let's see, i'll take all of the les pauls and the nocaster! of course, i probably can't even afford one of the strings off of one of the guitars! ha!
play music!
If Leo gave Les a guitar then I'm sure Les gave Leo a guitar. If I were a collector, I would want to get those two guitars!

The prices seem kind of low to me.
Those estimates will be blown right out of the water. That L5 Cremona with the hole in it will probably bring $75000+.
One of Mary Ford's SG shaped Les Paul's (White) was on Pawn Stars with a big stack of signed documents. The ask was around $100,000+ estimate, and that was her guitar. I can't remember if they bought it or not.
I'll bet that Gold Top goes for way over $150,000.
We shall see.

I knew about Leo sending Les a Tele, back in the day... THAT would be a pretty nice guitar to own! I bet it goes for WAY more than the listed $$$...
I keep waiting to hear if ANYONE got their hands on Les' "black box", the "Les Paulverizer"; I expect that some gear company will start selling "parts" of it, then build up to the "full" unit... I got to hear and see Les, on his 84th birthday at Fat Tuesday's, in NYC, and it was delightful! I didn't know it was his "birthday" show; we all had cake and champagne during the break between sets! Les had his "black box" that night, and gave a shining example of it's capabilities...
WHAT EVER is in that thing, it's still WAYYYY beyond what folks are marketing today...

There was a recent "Pawn Stars" show on the History Channel. A man brought in Mary Ford's guitar. He was her nephew and acquired it through the family. It was an early white Les Paul. I don't recall the model but it was the one that she played and which was on numerous magazine ads. Along with the guitar were a whole bundle of Les Paul's music contracts with Gibson and musical venues where he played shows with Mary Ford.
EDIT: Just read the post above. It was an SG.
The fellow with the guitar originally wanted $150,000 but, after some discussion,. the owner of the pawn shop, Rick Harrison, negotiated a price of $90,000, which he happily paid.
I think he made a deal. It's my opinion that an instruments such as that, with all of the provenance, would probably bring $150K to $200K at auction. It's close to the holy grail of electric guitars.
In the world of collectibles there are two names that stand out. One of them is Les Paul and the other is Leo Fender. I think those two fellows were geniuses. Anything owned by them would be very highly collectible.

Certainly not the pedal board with about $600 worth of Boss pedals for $3000-5000.
