View Full Version : MD/VA/DC/WV Get-Together-June 21, 2003
OK, announcing the next Taylor Get-Together (hopefully). :)
June 21 at my place, I live in Oak Hill, VA which is another way of naming the unincorporated part of Herndon, VA. Pretty close to 66, Fairfax County Parkway and the Dulles Toll Road.
I know its a ways away timewise and I'll remind y'all as it gets closer but with vacation season coming up I needed to draw a line in the sand.
If there's interest we could make it a bigger event and include spouse and/or kids. It'll be pool season and hopefully pool weather.
Let's set the minimum number of people to make this worth doing at 2 guests so we can do small or large.

Hi Tim,
Glad you decided to plan it. Not sure if I can make it, but I wouldn't be surprised if I could at least swing by in the afternoon. (I'll be driving home from Philly - Norah Jones concert the night before- and we will probably spend Friday night in Philly.)

Hey, have fun, guys! The Denver TGF get-together is the same night! The world is lucky... :D
Hey guys,
As you may have noticed I changed my logon name. I was haveing a little trouble with people taking the name the wrong way. I did not feel like defending myself everytime I turned around.
As for the next TGF event it is to early to tell but I hope I can come.

Am I missing something?? Erm... how can I put this delicately...I think there were allusions to animal husbandry. (Hopefully that was delicate enough. ;) )

Oh come on Tim...say it like it is. People's minds were in the gutter (not mine of course! ), and the first thing people thought of were man and beast together in an unnatural way.
Now see how easy that was, Tim? The upside is, now we'll never forget his name is Russ.
Leaving Saturday for Florida. A week in Disney and a couple of day visiying family. Cherrybomb(still not happy with that) will be getting the Dummy coil installed while I'm gone, so I won't even miss it.(or should it be Her?)

Got back from Florida Tuesday. Have a great time, caught a cold. Miss my guitar, which is still not back. Got the Taylorstock Video from JR(last one). Very green with envy to those that went. Hope there is another, and that I can go.
Just a note that this is still on. :)
I'm in Boston right now and when I get back I'll start promoting this a little more aggressively as "TaylorStock (Taylor Forum Events)" isn't always the most lively area of the TGF. :)

Glad to hear that there is another DC area get-together in the planning stage. I will be relocating to DC in June and hope to be settled by then. I am looking forward to meeting ya'll, so count me as a maybe.
Cheers.

Is the get together open to all people with TAS? (Taylor Aquisition Syndrome) If so, my wife and I might be interested. I'm not sure I'm in town that week though.
