So, sorry for the delay, but here (http://www.ryton-tech.com/lhtgf.htm) are the South Texas TGF get together pictures from Lake Houston a few weekends ago. Many thanks to PlexiPRS (Dick) for hosting the pics. We had a great time, and way too much great food!!

Working fine for me, each pic takes about 5 sec on my wireless/DSL set up.

Great pic of Jeff playing upside down lefty!

P.S. The BIG JPEG's are in the 350K+ range, but should be good for a decent print.

Hehe, I was talkin about how I used to teach this lefty kid and part of the deal was, if I could play it on his guitar normally (left handed guitar played right handed), he had to nail it before the next lesson. :)

So who are all these people? I only recognize Jeffrey. I want to put some names to these faces.

Oh yeah....I think there are too many guys there. You need some more girls with their guitars. :p

As each pic was taken, we did list who was who. I will send the list to PlexiPRS and maybe he can post it underneath each picture?

The weather sort of scared some people away (heavy, heavy rain and thunderstorms) -- that's why we had so much left over crawdads and chicken.

You need some more girls with their guitars. jmeinel, you are correct -- are you moving down here??:) Our next gathering is tentatively being scheduled for early July (I think). Bring your awesome list of guitars down here for all of us to play!! By then I'll have my 814ceS to share.

The pictures turned out great! Thanks for getting them posted on the forum. Did any of them make it to wood & steel?

Sorry, I have been out of touch for a few weeks. The A/C business is starting to pick up and I have been occupied with some legal maters with my adoptive son.

I enjoyed meeting all of you guys at the get together and look forward to the next one. Any luck on setting up another one for this summer?

jmeinel, we had a lot of fun at the event and we are planning on making this an annual event for the forum. "Guitar Gals" are welcome to attend. Hope to see you there next year!

I did not submit any to Wood and Steel. Who knows how to do that? I don't.

We can send an article about the event along with pictures via Email to Jim Kirlin jkirlin@taylorguitars.com and he will see if they can use it for wood & steel or a spot on the web page.

Do you know of any other get togathers being scheduled in the south Texas area for this summer?

Hmmm, one thing I am NOT is a writer. Looks like we need a volunteer. The pics on the site already have captions. Could we have a short article and send that to the email address with a link and let them choose some pics?
