Hey all,
I'm itching for another get-together. I have a few reasons (http://209.197.232.179/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=19655) to celebrate . . . and I just miss seeing everybody!
I can host a gathering on either Saturday 4/26, or Sunday 4/27, if anyone is interested in driving down to Solomons for the day. Won't be anything fancy or formal--just hanging out and having a good time.
It would be wonderful to get some new faces to show up, too . . . and I know there are a lot of you in driving distance! Don't be shy!
John (Cakes) also mentioned wanting to host another get-together, so if a different day or location would work better, just say so! I don't care where/when we have it, and long as we have it! Soon! :)

Count me in. I'm all for going to Jim's place. I could probably do either Saturday or Sunday, but Saturday the 26th would be my preference. Looking forward to it!

I'd LOVE to go either day! I'd even drive if I had no choice. :)

The gathering will definitely be on Saturday the 26th, starting at 11:00 and going as long as people feel like sticking around.
Everyone who's going to come should e-mail me (jim@jimtozier.com) for directions at some point . . .
See ya! :)

Thinking that I will probably make it (see other thread:)) is there anybody that would have to be driving past Springfield to get to Jim's place? I look big, but I fit nicely into the back seat of most 4-door sedans.

Dude, You are big!
James
P.S. I'm still on the fence on whether I'll be able to go. If I do, we can carpool. I'll even let you sit up front! ;)

Sorry Guys (and Gals), but I'm out! :(
That's the same date as my youngest's 8th B-Day party. A sleepover for 8 girls! Yipee!!!

Well, they're taking us off our crisis schedule next Monday, and I thought that would get me to the get-together, but a look at the new schedule shows I'll STILL be at work that day.
Sigh...
No weekends off until May 10th.
:(
I'm only bringing 2 guitars. I'm definitely bringing the K14c, my current love (fickle guy that I am).
What other one should I bring? PS55, 810 (poor unloved big guy), LTG, Taylorstock 912c (sounds much better with new Dean Markleys).
Oh and can I beg a ride from someone? ;)

Tim, you already know what my favorite guitar is, but bring whatever you would like. With a selection like that, I can't imagine anyone being disappointed. I can swing by and pick you up if you're interested.
(We'll take the beltway this time AND I'll be more punctual.)

Bring the Taylorstock guitar.
There's nothing like unanimity and this is NOTHING like unanimity.

John Ya mean we won't be following Crazy Jenn thru DC this time?
;)
Thanks for the offer, just let me know when you'll be coming by and I'll be ready.

Is the get together still happening?

Well, we both like to be punctual. I'm trying to remember how much time to budget for the trip. Perhaps 2 hours?
If that's the case, I could swing by just before 9AM....
What do you think?

Don't go blaming that on me!!! From what I remember, it was Ryan who let us on that goose chase. Just be happy we even got there.
You don't have to worry about that this time...you won't be following me. :p

Definitely still on . . . :)
It seems we might even have a couple of new faces this time around! Still plenty of time to hear from the rest of the local TGFers who haven't had a chance to hang with us yet! C'mon . . . Tim, Cakes, and Jennifer are much better behaved in person! :D
