Sure would like to meet with any TGF folks in the Denver area. Jam, eat, jam, drink, jam, talk? I live in Northglenn, but can travel to other areas of the great metropolis of Denver. It would have to be on a weekend as I work to support my habits during the week. I'm tired of playing in the music room for the cat. Not that he is not appreciative.

i just ran across this. Is it still a possibilty? I'm living in Aurora, and I think it would be sweet to get a bunch of TGF'ers together.

I too, just found this post. I also live in the Denver Metro Area (Littleton). I'd be up for a gathering. How about Clement Park out here in Littleton (Wadsworth and Bowles)? Weekends would be great for me too.

Yeah, I'm doing an internship here and I'll be here until August. I don't know my way around CO at all, but if you give me directions I can follow them. Fridays or Saturdays work best for me.

If you narrow a time down (probably afternoon) and give me a little notice I'm in too. Doesn't Littleton have a good Taylor Dealer :) .

Michael

Disclaimer: I'm wet behind the ears novice at jamming in a group setting.

Count me in. I can come down from the Longmont area on a Saturday or Sunday.

When a date starts being discussed I'll get my weather forecasters input, not that it matters after 10 minutes !!

so, what's a good date for everyone? Starting in July I'm gone most weekends, and the June 9 weekend won't work for me, but other than that I'm open if I know in advance.

WARNING: I will not be jamming with a Taylor, because I don't have one. I hope I'm still invited. :)

How 'bout May 17?

What time on the 17th? We're doing a service project with the youth at our church that's gonna go pretty much all day, so unless you want to do it around 7 or later, that doesn't work for me. What about the 18th? Or the 25th?

I'm stuck doing the "road-dog" routine right now, and it may last into early June. http://www.taylorguitarforum.com/forums/images/icons/icon8.gif

I'll keep a watch, but weekends until June are probably shot for me.

I'm busy with church and family on Sundays. The 25'th I'm doing a wedding. 'How bout we look for later in June? June 21 would work for me.

I need to check my calendar for June 21, although it should be open. I'm not used to planning so far ahead :)

Once we get to July, though, I'm busy every weekend. So June needs to work.

June 21 is GREAT for me as the family is leaving town and the Road-Dog must return to the roost:roll:

Maybe we can get the moderators to double post this thread in the general area.

Any ideas where we can do it? A park would be good, pending the weather of course. We might be too late to get a reservation though, but if we don't have many people, we wouldn't need one. So far on this thread I count 5. Anybody have an idea how many Denverites frequent this forum (J.R. that was directed to you)?

All right; I checked my schedule, and I'm in :D :D

Where to do it...? I don't know; I've only lived here a month :)

This is gonna be cool. Now that we have a firm date, we should double post it, if a moderator is willing...

Well, the time will soon be approaching, and we still need a location. Any suggestions?

We could meet in a park somewhere (Washington Park, or Clement park are first in my mind) if there aren't too many of us. Or, I could see about booking my church for a few hours (Wadsworth and Bowles). Let me know what you guys think.

A park may not be great if it starts raining, but would sure be more fun if it's sunny. We could maybe use your church as a backup?

And what time are we talking about for this?

I'll check tonight to see what's available and let you know tomorrow.

I posted another thread in the general discussion area to see if we can get some more people. Drop by and post somthing to it so it looks busy (and stays to the top).

Ba'Bump! Is this still a possibility or has it died?

I'd still like to do it, but I'm not free until 7 now, because of my work. So if we want to do a night thing, I'm in. Otherwise, you either have to do it without me :( or reschedule, but it'll be tough to find another time. Plus, I'm leaving CO to go back for my last year of college in Minnesota August 1.
