The Washington D.C. AGF gathering was a complete success. Being my first get together, I really enjoyed myself. Played a lot of guitars I would never get to play and meet some really great people and players. Thanks to Coil Guitars and Todd Stock of Greenridge Guitar for coming. Also, a big thanks to Ericsong for the venue. Here are pictures of the event, please add your own if you took any.

I had a BLAST! I show up with a Taylor 814c & 914ce (not knowing what to expect) and before I can unpack either... Eric and I have introduced ourselves and he puts a Kevin Ryan Cathedral in my hands!!! I really had a wonderful time. The venue was perfect. I actually didn't even have to play either of my guitars. There were more than enough to go around by a factor of 3(?). I played. You guys plugged me in. I met Todd Stock who is now doing some timely work for me. It never stopped. Linda gave me cheese puffs for the ride home! This was the best time I'd had since early June (Russian exchange student) or late July (on the field with the Phillies @ CBPark). I'd just turn around and someone would be playing and I could jump in (not an interloper, but an invitee), or they would put another piece of art in my hands and say "Here, try this!". (BTW, I'm the guy in the black Stetson)
Thank You One and All,
I am humbled. To the man (and woman) you were all perfect hosts!
Thank You! I would like to return.

I played a handbuilt short scale mahogany/sitka dread from a local builder that easily could have come home with me (she's still for sale guys!!) That guitar was sweet and SO easy to play!

Great pictures. Thanks to all for posting. However, it looks like I have to go on a diet and grow some more hair. I especially appreciate the pictures of my guitars. I don't have very many photos of them and these are now special. Thanks all for a great time.

Yeah...seem to be getting around a little, and enjoying it a lot! Did an open mike last Thurs PM, and other than the 2:30 AM back home and work the next day, that was pretty cool as well.
