I think Peter generally goes with Macassar Ebony for his backstraps, but he continued the Rosewood theme on my guitar going with an Indian Rosewood piece... I like it!

You're right, he's done Macassar Ebony on many. I had him put Madagascar Rosewood on mine to match the back+sides.
I like yours a lot!

The neck has finally reached it's final resting place on the guitar... I'm happy with the way it turned out. I decided against staining it and I like the contrast that the neck has against the dark body!

All it needs now is some strings and then it sings!

I'm not usually one for the cutaways but that guitar looks larvvely, something about the time, sweat and care that that craftsman put into her that make me want to pick her up. Congrats, I bet you're excited!!!
Soon enough, you'll be playing that beautiful guitar! Enjoy!

I love the way the Cornerstone Pinned Bridge Looks!! I had never seen Peter's pinned bridge until the Cedar/Olivewood Zion ( The road trip guitar)... When I saw those pictures posted I was sure my SJ should have the same look. I am more than please with the beauty of the guitar Peter has created... Now I just can't wait to Play It!!

Travis - that guitar looks WAY flashy to me. Beautiful woods, just tasteful and understatedly elegant. Kudos to Peter for making your dream a reality! Let us know when she arrives.
John
