I'm working on Mo Ghille Mear, which seems to be just right for my skill set. I also dusted off Al Petteway's Waltz For Rebecca, another tune that is just right for me. Any other suggestions for me to get a hold of? One to three pages is my limit, after that I tend to get bored with the piece.
Thanks.

I like mining Simon Fox's work for ideas and tunes...

I purchased his complete set, and expect to be entertained for the next few years.
Steve Hawkins is my favorite DADGAD artist. I don't know if he has any recordings. I've only heard him in person at Bob Alman's party in Healdsburg.

Doug Young's "Reminiscing" from AGF CD1 is really beautiful and elegant. ( DADGAD with capo on III )
That man has some serious talent.

Doug Young has some tablature up on his web site, including a really wonderful DADGAD arrangement of Shenandoa, and a very cool and equally wonderful DGDGAD arrangement of Bring a Torch (Christmas song).
Also, if you do a search here on the forum you can find a thread with a great DADGAD arrangement of Walzing Matilda.

Some beautiful but difficult pieces:
Spring Fever by Bill Mize
Renewal by Doug Smith
Both are published in TAB/traditional notation.

I love Ulli Boegershausen's Secret Story http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zlDgItHAeOs.
Also very cool is Alex Kabasser's Sadepisara, although it looks pretty tough http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HYDNUR6kvcA.

Larry,
I've begun working on this arrangement. It's wonderful and gives me a great deal of pleasure, though I've some way to go.
My thanks to you for enriching my life.
