Two thumbs up for Richard Gilewitz. I have seen him perform three or four times and it was a real treat every single time. If you like Leo Kottke you will like Gilewitz.

I saw him in Mobile AL. He was pushing Breedlove guitars and baggs p/u`s. His playing was great and we got free stuff.

I took advantage of a 3 hour series of lessons last night with Richard Gilewitz, arranged at Union Music. There were about 5 or 6 of us there, guitars in hand, learning some right hand techniques, some slide, as well as working on a fingerpicking arrangement of a tune. It was a great time, as well as a great learning opportunity. We had been playing from 2 years to 30+ years, and everyone left with constructive items to work on. If you get the chance to take advantage of one of these sessions, consider it seriously.

His show the previous night was also great, an hour of fantastic playing followed by the same amount of questions and answers. Pretty funny guy as well. His sponsors gave him plenty of stuff to give away.
