so Ryanfender just moved to the area. lets throw a welcome get-together for him!
so we need a time and place!
I was thinking maybe Nov 14th?
my church is always open and right inside the beltway minutes from Tysons. if we meet here, everyone is invited and would be a get together without "churchy" talk. so no worries here!
doesn't have to be that date or place. just throwing out an option!

I'm up for it too - could probably have it at my house if that is better for people. "Locals" might be interested in participating in the gathering in Baltimore this month being hosted by Cypress Knee. I went to the last one Jim had and it was a load of fun. Haven't seen a lot of response so far, but I am betting it is going to be well worth the drive.

It's been a while for me too. I'm in as well (barring the unforeseen schedule hijacks that have kept me away from the last few gatherings.)

I can do Nov. 14th to anyplace that is Metro accessible. Depending on the weather I may or may not bring a guitar. Does everyone usually bring a guitar to these get togethers? Anyway, sounds like fun.

If you are in the Friendship Heights area you are about a mile from me. Happy to have you drive with me if schedules work. The gatherings I have been to have seen no shortage of guitars.

Yeah, Jeff that sounds good assuming I am still in Friendship Heights by that time. We are currently looking for a condo to buy in the district so my stay in Friendship Heights will be temporary. However, I expect us to be here for a couple of months so it should work.
