Im trying to figure out this Thai song for my GF, but am stuck at the chord at 50secs into the song
The song can be heard here:
http://www.imeem.com/funkypunky/music/ms802_Xj/palmy/
I think it goes like this
G Cm7 E7 G x4
G ??? E7 G (I thought Its either Gsus4 or Gm but they dont sound right)
there seems to be the same open strings ringing through out, so could it be capoed?
Thanks in advance
Tony

I don't have a capo with me, but it sounds like there's a capo on the third and the first two chords are Emaj and Am7 relative to the capo position.
The third chord, I'm guessing, is the same Am7 fingering moved up two frets (with the same open strings), producing an A 13th.
Then back to Emaj, rinse and repeat.

Hi Tony...
It is capo at the 3rd fret, and played in key of E in relationship to the capo.
The chords are:
E | Am7 | (slide the Am7 fingering up two frets & name it anything you like | and back to E
Your mystery chord at the :50 mark is just a simple CMaj7 (play a C chord and lift the first finger exposing the b string)

Could anyone be so kind as to help me figure out the chords for the chorus?
It starts at 1:15, has 7 chords, and repeats these 7 twice
So from relative to the capo I have
Am7 | ? | . . . . I really suck at figuring out by ear, though It should be pretty easy
Thanks in advance!

Am7
x02010
A13
x04030
Gmaj7
3x0002
Cmaj7
x32000
Am7
A13
Esus4
022200
Emaj
022100
It would be much easier with an MP3, but I think that's about right.
