TGF-Texas Get Together

This poll is just ment to get a rough idea of how many would attend a gathering in Plano. I'll be happy to work with someone to put this together.

I'll put down some very rough dates and we will see how many to expect. We could even do more than one date based on the response.

I don't know of anyway to allow a/b choices on a poll. If a moderator can help with this please edit the poll.

I'd be going for sure and possibly the wife.

So at the very least 1, possibly 2. :)

* Missing April and May btw. ;) And I think those are two very viable months. :)

Late summer for me! Too much Little League for me to make it in spring or early summer.

However - I will most likely be there no matter what the date.

I chose dates that I know larry Morgan Music would be finished with the Grand Opening and have all of their stock in place.

April or May might be to soon for them to be ready.

Believe it or not, I already have church commitments on the last weekend in March (youth conference in Plano) and the last week in July (youth summer camp week in Ardmore, OK). Also, Texas is a big state, so, for me, it will also depend on where it is. The closer to San Antonio, the better for me (which is why I was so excited about the first TX-TGF thread). Anyway, I voted for early June as my best date based on the poll choices, with late August in second.

Just an update.

I met with Marcus @ Larry Morgan Music Today. We are looking at scheduling something the weekend after the Grand Opening, Or if that doesn't work a little later.

I will update the thread next week when we have a better idea.

Marcus would like to bring in some guest speakers. Maybe some, instruction on guitar building, clinicians, etc.

Let me know your thoughts!

Sounds like it might be in the Dallas area. Is LM opening a new store or something? Anyway, I'm not sure what to expect but it would be interesting to attend. Just let me know when and I'll try to make it.
