I need something that teaches it from the ground up. I know how to find any note on the fretboard and a few things about scales and that's it. I need something that talks about key signatures, transposing, etc. Thanks!
No need to buy a book...just google around the net to find what you need about key signatures and transposing (http://cnx.org/content/m10668/latest/).

Then Google specific questions. The articles at ibreathemusic are great, but, you need the basics down first to understand them.
Good luck.
