Hi, everybody. :D
I was just wondering what kind/brand of clip-on tuners do you guys recommend?
I'm thinking about getting one and I don't want to buy one blindly. xP
Thanks a lot!

I use the TuneTech Tunner TT-1000. It is more rectangular than its TT-500 brother that is more common.
I have used a bunch of clip-ons, and the TT-1000 performs as well as any.
HOWEVER, they, like most if not all clip-ons, have a hard time sensing the low-E, and sometimes (depending on guitar/headstock), other strings.
The solution is to fret the note elsewhere on the fretboard, or hit the harmonic at the 12th fret.
The clip-ons are very handy, but can be a bit aggravating to use...

I use a Seiko STK-1. It costs more than the newer tuners, but it's never given me any problems...it tracks really, REALLY well!

You can wade through this thread . . .

. . . or you can just take my word -- and a host of others -- that the Tune Tech 500 (formerly the IMT-500) is the bomb. It's the only clip-on (that I'm aware of) with a +/- .05 cents deviation -- which beats most in-line tuners.
The IMT 500 is my go-to tuner. The only test I haven't had an opportunity to try is the IMT-500 in the middle of a rock band playing at 11 (which the Sabine failed).
If and when the Sabine breaks, I'll replace it with the Tune Tech.

Thanks guys! I'll check out the other thread too. =]
Well according to the above linked thread they reccomended the Intelli IMT-500.
#1 Intelli IMT500
#2 Sabine Zoid Z1000
#3 Intellitouch PT1
#4 Profile PT-2700
I have a some friends that have the tunetech and it seems identical to the Intelli. Everything is exactly the same except he name printed on it. Anyway, mine works great.

Hi SD...
The IMT-500 are hard to beat. They are less than $20 shipped off e-bay. They last well and are small.
Many clip ons have a problem distinguishing the low E (6th string) but just hit the octave harmonic and it will pick it right up.
