Greetings all...
I'm fortunate enought to be attending a Tommy Emmanuel workshop later this summer, just 1 block from the beach in beautiful Beach Haven, NJ.
Have any of you attended one of these before? If so, what can I expect, and what suggestions do you have? I'm sure the time will go quick, and I figure I should probably start some pre-work and more practicing to make that time very worthwhile! Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks.

I attended a workshop with TE in Texas, about six or seven years ago. I found it very worthwhile, in fact, I'm still using some of the tips he gave me.
As he went to get a cup of coffee in the back of the room, I was noodling with "Autumn Leaves." He paused on the way back to listen and made a suggestion about a chord substitution. I was delighted, but after the workshop, he sought me out and suggested some other chords I might incorporate in the song. To say I was pleased is to understate it. He's a very gracious guy.
