Wish I was. But not this time around. I'll have to put this on the calendar and actually plan for it some time. LOL I always seem to either find out about or remember things like this when it's way too late to do anything about it..
Ah, aging is not for the timid.
Mr Bondo, please give me a shout when you get home.

So what's the secret handshake and signal so we can recognize each other?..:)
I am the big ugy dude driving the white Suburban. The other way to spot me will be to listen for the guy in the back of the class playing the wrong notes, totally out of time, completely off of key and tapping his foot in some irregular, unrelated and probably random pattern.

It was my first guitar camp and an absolutely amazing experience.
Truly a special event.

I was there for Contemporary Folk Week. It was my first Swannanoa Gathering. I hope to never miss another one. Truly amazing experience!

So, actaylor....I met some folks from Charlotte, and Tyler's dad even had a 710...any chance that was you? I was the guy running around with a TBondo button and my better half in tow

No, wasn't me. Did you go to the first open mic night? I was the guy who performed a song about forgetting to pack any underwear. (There's a fine line between bravery and stupidity. I believe I crossed it that night.)

As a collector of novelty songs, I would love to have lyrics or an mp3 of your underwear song. I know Beach Bob would also like to hear it.

I heard that song Thursday night - your a funny guy actaylor!
Tbondo - there were so many Taylors (I think a close second to Martins) that I didn't recognize you.

Thanks, Bill. My friend Steve Simpson, who has been to about six Swannanoa Gatherings, basically dared me to perform that song after I played it for him.
You're right about how many Taylors were there. I brought my Martin, but I would've have been just as happy with my 710..

I would if I could remember it. :D
About a week ago, my wife and I went shopping for a few things and while in Bed, Bath & Beyond, I heard some guy say something perfectly innocuous, but to me, it sounded like a great hook. I had a song in my head before we even left the store and by the time I got home 30 minutes later, it had flown.
Now, a week later, I still can't even recall the concept, much less his comment, much less again anything to do with that song.
I either need to carry a dictation machine or a pad and pencil... My mind has turned to Cream of Wheat.

Thanks, Layne. Yes, Bill, I remember you in that song circle Monday night. That's when Steve began working on me to sing that song at Open Mic. I wasn't going to do it, so he and Bruce Johnston signed me up. Great friends, huh?
