Marco Island Florida, July W/E Of The 17th

We're going to Marco Island Friday the 17th through Sunday the 19th. We're part of three couples who all want to do different things. I'm not into the beach scene, so is there anyone in the vicinity that wants to mess around on guitars that weekend?

I have absolutely no plans so far. I was going to look up whatever guitar stores in the area just to list their addresses if it became possible to visit. Being able to visit stores isn't as important as meeting up with some AGF'ers if that could be done.

Hey Marco Island is a pretty cool place! Used to live in the Naples area about ten years ago and truck on down to Marco for some live music. There was a dockside restaurant called The Snook Inn that had some acoustic music goin' on back then (even played a few gigs there myself) and some great food. Don't know if the place is still in business but it might be worth checking out. Have some fun and watch out for the crocodiles!

OK - Snook Inn, is on the list. Island Country Club for some golf, (edit), nope, members only... Watch a lot of British Open on television... Hit the beach around dusk so I don't fry... Maybe take a guitar... This is one time I wish I still had my Taylor Baby at home instead of having left it in Jamaica with my son.
