Maybe everybody already knows this link, but at:

there's a great little pdf book with a number of fun tunes. Not actually "classic" ragtime, but most of the songs don't seem too hard and they sound great (been having a lot of fun with them)!

I downloaded that some time back. "Ragpicking" is my favorite in that book. Lots of detailed info on fingering and right hand picking given for the songs - that alone is well worth the read.

Very nice links, thanks! Not sure I'll ever be good enough to tackle the classic stuff, but I do find myself listening to ragtime piano quite often lately, as well as guitar. It is nice for inspiration (and just plain fun to listen to!).

Can anyone provide me with a copy of the pdf booklet? I can get it to download but it will not open. I get the message that the download was corrupted. I reallly like ragtime on piano. Should be great study material for fingerpicking.

This really is a great resource...I DLed it several months ago and am about 4 songs in...REALLY great stuff. I highly recommend looking a versions of these songs on youtube if you have trouble with some of the more challenging parts...not everyone fingers these chords in the same way and sometimes seeing things done differently makes my life easier.

Hello, It is me again. I don't believe it, but, I kept trying last night and again tonight, doing the same steps over and over on this computer of mine and I finally got the ragtime pdf downloaded. All I can get is a slow dial up in this part of Thailand and it makes many computer operations a nightmare. They all seem to time out or just quit. Anyway that is a great link and I am now using the book to study by. Thank you. John
