laurence Juber is playing July 8th at Alva's in San Pedro. This is a great place to see a show, very small, and great acoustics.

Just got back from the show at Alva's an hour or so ago. Great show! Laurence is such an amazing player. He was playing a new prototype of his signature Martin. Flame maple back and sides! Beautiful guitar and sounded really great through the house but he had some serious tuning issues. He kept tuning and re-tuning and was pressing down on bridge pins all throughout the night.

Saw the same show. He is an AMAZING player. What a generous set he really played quite a long time; I was really pleased. I talked with Juber's wife after the show and she was saying that he is still in love with the new guitar, but when pushed to say what is his favorite - he has 62 guitars - he will opt for a Martin with mahagony sides and back.

What a great venue for this type of music.
