David Payne is a great teacher and he gives group lessons through Leisure learning or individual lessons in his studio in Southwest Houston..

I used to take lessons from David until I moved to Dallas a couple of years ago.

This was his number (713-728-9036), if its changed just call Leisure Lerning and I'm sure they will connect you.

I just started taking lessons from Harold Combess. He is a Berkely school of music grad. I've been playing for about 20 years and I will say that he really really knows his stuff. He's mostly a jazz guy but I'm sure he can teach anything. I had to go through Musikalessons.com to find him. Might be an option depending on what part of town your at. He teaches out of his home which is close to 290N and 610, but he will also travel to your place for a little extra $$.
