Riorider will plan on bringing a Rivera acoustic amp, 2 Audix OM2 mics, stands, cables, power conditioner/surge protector, and a music stand.

McKnight's have a "sound seat" and foot stools to sit on.

I will rent chairs for those who sit back and enjoy the music of others.

Thanks Mary! You beat me to it.

If anyone needs something else, let me know. I also will bring a small Behringer Xenyx mixer (12ch). No worries if you have active or passive pickups, ES or other balanced systems, or dual source pickup systems - the Xenyx does a good, simple job.

My OM2s are very good for vocals, and will work fine for instruments, but if you have some instrument mic you like better haul it along.

I can hang a small digital recorder off the mixer if you want to capture your song -- just for fun -- I'll have it along anyway to listen to audiobooks while we drive!

Not a one. SongwriterFan might. David walked around with his camera all day. :)

I plan on being there this year (both days).

Hopefully Tiffany will, as well. Hopefully NOT a repeat of last year.

As to videos from last year: they're still on tape, which is in my camera bag somewhere. I haven't done ANY editing of them yet.

I better watch you two kids! I'm gonna need lots of cold water for you both to drink.

Oh, and by the way, Ralph and Teresa will be married in April so they will be a Mr & Mrs for the jam. That won't make him any better at security! I should give that job to her!

What was wrong with security? I thought the riff-raff was kept away quite nicely. :D

We can let the loft security man take care of any riff-raff. ;)

Between the festival and taking kids camping I slept in a tent 28 days out of 32 last summer. This year I am getting a room. Which place is closest/cleanest/cheapest? Are any run by Norman Bates or other issues?
Coments from room dudes of last year please.

Hey give credit to you and others!
Who took the picture of Scott balancing that giant guitar on Tims back?

Springsteens Superbowl show would have been much better with the Flag straps and a Guitar Born in the USA

the Super 8 wasn't bad at all....I know it hasn't gotten the best reviews in the past, but I had no problem with it.

All the motels are on the same corner. My guess is they are all about the same in looks. I know the Comfort Inn gives waffles for breakfast.

If you want me to compare prices of rooms with two beds, I will do that for you, John. ;)

I am so looking forward to this... Ashley and I still talk about last year's event - we enjoyed every second of it. Mary, Tim and their family are the ultimate hosts.

Mary/Tim: Thanks so much for hosting another McJam this year! You guys are the best.

It will be nice to see you both again, Rodger. It looks like there will be a few new faces.

We did have a good time last year. I think door prizes will be fun if I can find some.

Nancy and I had a great time last year and we're checking out the date.
If it all works out can I play one of the big guitars this year?

If you are really fond of that one, I can add water to it. Maybe it will grow up!

I do hope you two will come. We will have a few new faces this year. I can't wait to meet folks.

sure wish I could go :( but, Ya know how that country traffic is it would take me "hours" to drive that far...... especially if I got caught behind one of those slow moving tractors on the road.

I really don't know how Tim can drive out there ;)
