There's a nice guitar store in Frisco that has jams at least monthly, and also showcase/small concerts. I'll get the link and address and post back...

Any hints on the type of music you might be interested in? I can steer you toward more bluegrass jam opportunities than you can shake a stick at, but I can't help you much with less sophisticated music styles!!! ;)
