Hey AGF'ers...just wanted to let everyone know that I'm playing the Bluebird Cafe in Nashville. The date is Dec 30th..show starts at 6 p.m. It's free but there is a minimum purchase once you're there. If any of you are in or around Nashville come by and introduce yourself. You can get reservations on the Bluebird Cafe website starting the Monday before. I'll be there with Scott Southworth and Heino from the music row show and another writer yet to be named....hope to see ya there...
(The last show we did sold out in 23 hours...however due to the date being New Years eve eve I'd say you could just show up that night and get a seat...):)
Isn't that quite a coup for a singer /songwriter, especially over the holidays. Your discovery is at hand.

Congrats!
So, are you Scott Southworth, Jeff Hudson, Heino, or friend ?
Oops, just re-read your post, so you must be Jeff Hudson. :D
PS: You ought to make reservations to stay and see Don Henry and Craig Carothers and Danny Flowers, who are playing after you. You'll be glad you did.

Been there several times. I love the place. Intimate. Are you gonna be on teh stage or in the round in the center? Good luck. I've run into several indie record folks there. I sat with a couple (you can't chose your table if your alone) and we enjoyed a great show in the round. After the show this guy and his wife say to me, "You sound like your a fan of a great song" (I was there at a songwriters seminar) and I says yepper. He writes his number down on a napkin (yes it does happen) and says if you're in town Saturday give me a call, a few of us are having a barbecue and these songwriters will be there. Turns out the guy is the president of an indie songwriter org. I says.......I'm flying out on Friday..........rats.........so good luck really man, you never know

Pretty sure we'll be in the round. I've played there 5 or 6 times and was in the "row" only once. Normally the early shows are in the round unless there is a band playing the late show....Thanks...

That's great! Best of luck with the performance.
Congrats, David ~
I wish we could fit that one into our schedule! I'd love to drop in on you to watch, listen, learn.
