My front porch has just been upgraded with new windows and I think it is now 3 season capable .I'm hoping to gather folks for music there Spring 2009. It can probably hold a maximum of six guests with guitars.
My hopes for a gathering are less ambitious and different than some of the others in which I've been involved. As I mentioned six is about the most I would consider hosting at this point. Even one wouldn't be too few since I've had some really good times in the past with just one other player.
I'm also thinking of possibly having 2 gatherings, a "Saturday" gathering where secular songs are sung, and "Sunday" gathering where in addition to the Saturday songs we would feel free to sing Christian songs ( Praise and Worship, Contemporary Christian, Old time Gospel, Hymns, Camp Songs, Jesus People songs......)
So if you are within not too long of a drive from Holland Michigan, give some thought to either/both type of gathering next Spring, May being a best guess.
Any thoughts? People who already know that they might be interested?
