Just got an announcement in the mail that Doyle Dykes is doing a concert on Wednesday Nov 5 at 8:30 PM at Melodee Music in Sterling, VA.

I'd love to get a group of us in the area to sign up for this -- interested?

Did you tell him you were from the AGF?

I'll be seeing Doyle in two weeks in Rockford, IL. When I saw him a couple of weeks ago, I told him about the AGF CD. I had planned to give him a copy, but forgot to bring it with me. This time, he'll get a copy!

Did he play a sneek preview of a song or two from his new CD during his concert? Did he have his new CD for sale yet? Was his daughter Haley there with him?

It was great~~..
I always listen to his hymn pieces..
other pieces were great as well, sound was great..

but the I just didn't get the right sound from his taylor..pickup didn't take out the sound that should be.. or i tested Ericsong's new gear before the concert..
He got used pendulum SPS-1 and I tested this on Ryan & Omega right before the concert.. lesson learn, great gear delivers great sound ...

i got spoiled (that must be it).

He's playing chord based finger picking. It was different expierience from Tommy Emmanuel's concert. two artists just showed passion for music for sure..

This year is great for me..i went to the concerts of two of the best acoustic guitar artists in person. WoW~..

I didn't have chance to talk to him, I am sure he will be here next year as well.:)

Now, where is my tab music books..
