Next Sunday night, Oct 5 at the Mission City Coffee Roasting Co, I'll be featuring roots musician Michael Stadler and contemporary fingerstylist Az Samad.
Michael is a multi-instrumentalist and vocalist, equally at home on guitar, banjo, fiddle and mandolin. He has recorded with Solid Air Records, and appears with many others both live and on recordings. Michael’s music combines folk, country, old-time, bluegrass, and much more into his own style.
Az comes originally from Malaysia, where he was honored as one of Malaysia’s “17 Outstanding Individuals.” He has studied Jazz Composition and Performance at the Berklee School of Music in Boston. His music blends, jazz, classical, latin and pop music into a firey brand of dynamic fingerstyle guitar.
