Next Sunday night, Sept 7 at the Mission City Coffee Roasting Co., I'll be featuring Celtic guitarist extraordinaire Steve Baughman and classical guitarist Kenny Hill.
Steve is a highly regarded recording artist who has performed throughout the country, and is well known for his recordings, instructional books, and videos, and his love of Celtic and Appalachian music. Steve approaches traditional music with a unique blend of reverence, thoughtful analysis and insight, and a quirky sense of humor.
Kenny Hill is best known as a builder of excellent classical guitars and owner of Hill Guitar Company, but he is also a fine player who has been playing classical guitar since the early seventies. He has performed extensively around the world, and has taught at the University of California.
