I'm up at Farmfest in Vienna Corners, MI (abt. 22 mi. w. of Gaylord, MI, at the north end of the lower peninsula (the mitten) abt. 70 mi. s. of Mackinaw City--will be playing with the SASS! Trio today (Sat.) at 3:20 pm and the Spirit Sing Sun. morning at 10--both on the main stage. Second Stage set Sun. TBA (we won't know when till Sun. mornng. Admission is by donation--no set amount. There will be the usual array of food, clothing, jewelry, drum and craft vendors. Sort of a mini-Woodstock, on a 40-acre farm with natural amphitheatre, wooded trails (the dance stage, second stage and drum kiva are all down the trail), and a firepit for ghost stories and pickin' each night. Jamming in the campground, too. Open mics both days as well. No formal workshops, but some may spring up on demand.
