The 2009 PNW acoustic gathering is
reserved and set.
There was some discussion to make it a week later, but if history rings
true, that gets closer to Healdsburg, and would interfere with the Mark
Hanson Clinics, so we stuck with what worked this year, which went very very
well.
So here's your vitals: Same time same place, one year older
Place: Lewis & Clark Environmental learning center again, Chehalis, WA
Date/Time: Starts Friday, 1pm, on 7/10/09, ends Sunday 7/12/09 1pm

Anyone not on the mailing list for distribution, who would like to be, let
me know. Volume is listed by Google for this as "low", but can surge to
moderate (few posts a day) around timing of local events.
Hope you can be there! They said next up for facilities is remodel of the
bathroom/showers and a new gas institutional stove. (the mojo-ish one used this year is some 50 years old!)
We don't try to make money, we seek to break even, (we did it this year!),
so rates will probably stay about the same,
unless the campground goes up:
Quite reasonable: ~15.00 per head/weekend for campers, ~ 25.00 per
head/weekend for lodgers
(BYO everything.)
Surrounded by old growth Douglas fir trees, Lewis & Clark features hiking,
biking, riding on five miles of equestrian trails.
Park Location: Near Chehalis.
Capacity: 24 people + campers.
Availability: Year round
Accommodations: Lodge with fully equipped kitchen, wood stove, and bunkroom for 24; large area adjacent to lodge with room for ten RVs (no hookups) or tents increases occupancy up to 50 people; restrooms and showers.
Features: Kitchen utensils and dishes; beds or cots; tables and chairs;
cleaning supplies; paper towels and toilet paper.
Not provided: Kitchen linens and dishwashing supplies; bedding or sleeping
bags; firewood; first aid equipment; recreational equipment.
Activities: Horseback riding on five miles of trail; hiking; biking;
visiting historic Jackson House homestead; visiting nearby Mount St. Helen's
and related interpretive center.
