I feel especially priviledged and blessed to have this talented craftsman in my family.
This past weekend we had our family reunion, Trev and Keely were out and so were a bunch of uncles and cousins who brought along their Kronbauers.

Here's pics, Trev has the numbers.

Thats my Uncle Norm, my Dad, Trev, Uncle Don, Lloyd, and kneeling is Gerard.

And this is Trev nervously standing with six of his creations balanced precariously against him. I asked him to stand still. He didn't have to be convinced. hehehe

Fretz,
Welcome to the forum!
Trevor is pretty well known here. His guitars are beautiful.
Tell us about yourself.
What kind of music do you play?
Do you build also?
Do you record?

Hi Paul, are you really related to me? There was a family run in down in N Dakota this summer that Don and my Dad went to. They'd have brought their Krons I imagine.

Got to confess, most of my playing is done through a strat and a hot rod deluxe, but I do have a Garisson midline model that serves me well.

Things are looking good for me financially lately so I'll be placing my Kronbauer order in due time.

And actually, it wasn't cold there. Sun was in an out from behind clouds. These pics were taken by the fire pit on Dad's acreage. If you facebook, you can maybe view more pics of the event (and yeah I'm in there playing one of Trev's as well as my Garisson) if you search groups for Reunion 08 Mirror.

I was aware of Trev's reputation here, I've been a bit of a lurker for a few months now. hehe
I'm just so proud of the guy, and yeah I do consider myself very lucky.

Hi Paul, are you really related to me?

No, that was just a joke, but I WISH I was related to a luthier with Trevor's skills. I have drooled over a few that I have seen on the forum and wished I had won the lotto when I see one come up on the Classifieds.........

Nice to have you here!

One nice thing, if you like Kronbauer's, is they tend to pop up their fairly frequently.

That looks like one heck of a get-together!

If I didn't know any better I'd guess that a pig got roasted some time during the festivities. Mmmmmmm.....

Well, no there wasn't a pig, but a good 25 pounder hip roast of beef was slowly turned on the barby all day saturday.

Our family reunions generally consist of copious amounts of excellent food and beer. My Aunt Thelma sits almost the entire time in front of her keyboard. That woman is a natural pianist. No formal training, she just plays and plays well. You can walk around visiting and such and if you get the urge to strum you just take up a seat near Thelma and strum and play along with her. She's got these huge song books of lyrics, full poster size, with probably 80 or 90 songs in each. (theres I think about 8 of these books)

By dark everyone is around the big firepit talking, telling jokes, catching up and strumming and singing. There have been musical moments around that fire that provide memories for lifetimes. I really love my family, every single one of them. We're a large group, but no one is unimportant, and when one of us hurts we all do our part to help out with the healing.

I grew up with a love of music and an abundance of love from all around me.

I never knew how lucky I was until it became clear to me that such a large family being so close is a rare thing. I thought all families were like mine.

I am a very fortunate dude.:)
